Lorraine Lax owner of Beautiful Brides was delighted to see so many young people looking for what was a tiara on display in the shop window.
"My shop is not on a main road in town so it was lovely seeing lots of young people with their mums, dads, grandparents and teachers peering in the window collecting clues for the competition".
Over 40 treasure hunt forms were completed.

Our children, teachers and helpers thoroughly enjoyed visiting the shops and businesses on the route. There were many skills which the children used including counting, writing and colouring. We are delighted to have won the school prize".
Phil Ball, Shop Local Project Lead would like to thank everyone who took part in the treasure hunt which was a great example of shops and businesses working together providing interest and fun in the town for local Spennymoor people.
